How to get to Gili Asahan
Just a stone’s throw away from Bali, yet off the beaten track: Pearl Beach Resort Gili Asahan is a secluded island paradise easy to reach.
If you are staying on Bali or Nusa Lembongan/Penida we recommend to take Gili Getaway speed boat to Gili Gede, our neighbouring island. From Gili Gede to Gili Asahan the local boat transfer is 125.000 IDR per person (min. 2 paying persons required) and needs to be pre-booked. If you would like us to assist with the speed boat and boat transfer just send us a message and we are happy to arrange everything for you. Other travel options from Bali are taking a flight from Denpasar Bali to Lombok or less recommended the (literally) slow ferry from Padangbay Bali to Lembar harbor on Lombok.
If you are staying already on Lombok or are arriving by airplane on Lomboks international airport we can arrange car and boat transfers to us for you. With our recommend car service the car ride from the airport and Senggigi for example costs 450.000 IDR and takes about 2h, from Kuta and Bangsal harbor – where you will have to go to first when traveling from the Northern Gilis -, the car price is 575.000 IDR and takes about 2,5 h, from Lembar the car cost is 350.000 IDR and takes about 1h.
If you arrange your own car transport on Lombok best would be if you ask your driver to call us once he passes Cocotinos. Then we can give him directions and also send a boat over the mainland for you in time. If you are coming with your own car/motorbike there is secured parking available at the mainland for 25.000 IDR per night per motorbike and 50.000 IDR per night per car.
For the 15-minute boat ride from Lombok to our island (boats leave form the mainland opposite Gili Asahan shortly before Labuhan Poh in Sekotong, Desa Batu Putih from our private port close to Kores – look for the Pearl Beach Resort Gili Asahan sign!) we are happy to pre-order a boat for you. The price per person per way is 25.000 IDR between 6 am and 6 pm. We can also arrange a later or earlier transport but there is a surcharge of 100.000 IDR per boat.
We also offer three daily free transports between the mainland and Gili Asahan at fixed times: from Kores to Pearl Beach at 7:30am, 13:45 and at 17:00 and from Pearl Beach to Kores at 7:15, 13:30 and 16:45.
